| IBF-Empretec: Get involved |
| IBF’s mission is to create a culture of entrepreneurship in India using UNCTAD's vision, principles and methodology. We work with not only state bodies and corporations, but also professionals, business-owners, volunteers, students, and even government officials, worldwide. |
|
Why get involved
Entrepreneurship and the development of the private sector are essential to achieving the Millennium Development Goal of eradicating extreme poverty. Entrepreneurs offer a variety of products and services, making economies more resilient and less vulnerable to downturns in particular economic sectors. In addition, they create a sense of practical optimism – given sufficient examples, families and communities understand that going into business is a feasible and effective means of escaping poverty. Empretec operates with these beliefs as a foundation for all its activities. |
|
What do IBF-Empretec look for in partner institutions and individuals Prestige (a good name, widely recognized by the local community)
